Elsie & Ethel - Bowl & Stand

Meet Elsie and Ethel, a beautiful and very special pairing. We found Ethel the stand first and it took us a while to find a bowl of the perfect size to match her, but we have! Our Elsie bowl is an absolute stunner, carved from a huge single piece of wood with amazing patina and aged character. She has carved carry handles and a metal repair plate on her underside, along with signs of a previous repair plate to her handle.
 
Ethel the stand is also very old and has a wonderful patina and shape, she is in great condition but due to her size and primitive build she (although built to last) has the odd wobble, so is currently a collection only piece until we can find a courier that we trust with her.
