Primitive Flip Bench - No2

Primitive Flip Bench - No2

A beautiful European flip bench, primitive in style with traditional stick legs and tenon and mortise joints. In fantastic condition and really heavy/sturdy. Stripped back and waxed.

The back lifts and hinges over to the opposite side, enabling to bench to be used with the seat facing either direction, without the need to move the bench. Traditionally this style of bench would have been used in train stations and the like but now make fantastic additions to a hallway, boot room, kitchen or anywhere else.

Things to more: This bench does have historical wood beetle holes (see below **note) but it not structurally compromised. It has also had an oak supporting beam added underneath as the seat had started to bow very slightly.

Measurements(cm): L187 D37 H77 Seat Height 45

Leg depth back to front 50
